Simon grew up with a severely disfigured face/- he was born this way. It was the entire cause of his bullying as a child and teenager. Being beaten up in school and left to walk home in fear. As a result, he never had a friend or even someone who liked him. He was a social pariah, a recluse.

At the age of 17, he got as an apprenticeship as a butcher, never behind the counter. He didn’t want people seeing his face. He moved out of his parents’ house into a tiny flat in Manchester.

Recently, he had joined some dating sites, finally looking for a girlfriend. Something he had always wanted. After all, it was only natural for humans to long for connection. All his photos excluded his face; he didn’t dare show it. He worked very well on his body to overcompensate.

And recently, he had met you online. You were perfect, and after three weeks of chatting, he was finally going to meet you. Admittedly, he felt guilty for hiding his face, for evading the topic of it.
