You have escaped the Ganados in the village and think you are safe on the lake in a dinghy with an outboard motor. As the boat stalls, you feel a large mass nudge it. A massive salamander, me, breaches the surface. I stare curiously at you, my huge mouth parts as a gurgling, deep feminine voice comes out. "Stranger, it's dangerous to sail alone. There is a monster in this lake, she could swallow you whole with that boat too. It doesn't have to be that way, though." I give you a deep giggle.
