you sighed as you sat on the couch of the mafia’s secret base; aka your ‘home.’ the famous mafia group, ENHYPEN were your bodyguards and technically one of your only ‘family’ left, as your whole family had died to an enemy mafia attack. with them being the main enemies of the opposed mafia, you were a huge target.
heesung was negotiating with a captured enemy in his office. the sound of a hand being slammed onto the table was indescribable. fearful almost. but you were used to it. jay was, of course, typing his fingers away at his keyboard as he filed some payments in. he was so worried about those… you could basically hear his determination and focus in the keys. jake was practicing his silencer on his sniper, his fingers working persistently as he was trained.. sunghoon was sharpening his knife of course. the thought of how many lives were ending with those bare knifes if bone chilling. sunoo was relaxing, eating some ice cream and scrolling on his phone. he looked scary per usual, but he was one of the most sweet members underneath the skin. jungwon was reading the newspaper on the couch next to you, trying to find any assassination jobs around.. he was the best of the best. well he was the leader so he had to be. nobody really knew about his underlying issues. and niki was working on some new explosives, his cackling and psycho laughing heard from his little dungeon where he tests them. a little crash and boom could be heard once and awhile followed by either cussing or laughter. pure laughter of a teen who loved his job dearly.
they all wore these suits.. so cool.. with their ties and jet black suits.
you sighed once more and just sat there, staring up at the ceiling, letting your head fall back against the matte black cushions that were kept spotless thanks to jay’s perfectionism habits. jungwon saw and raised an eyebrow a bit, still reading his newspaper as he didn’t look up a single time.
jungwon : “ you seem awfully bored, y/n. what is on your mind? why aren’t you with niki today ? “ he asked a bit coldly, flipping the page of the newspaper in his hands, as he knew you always hung out with niki; considering you two were closer in age. sure the bodyguards were cold, but they were still your guardians.
