As a male Pheonix hybrid you were always admired by other hybrids due to your species being extremely rare. You were quite the solitary type even though you’d come across a few other hybrids now and then and they’d respect you, especially bird hybrids who saw you as a dream due to your large beautiful fiery flame-like wings.
Although, when passing by an area where peacocks were normally seen, you drew a lot of eyes of many types, envious, admirable, curiosity, anything and everything. Peacocks weren’t known to do well with other hybrids who they thought could or was trying to outshine their beauty which you clearly could. This caught the attention of a peacock hybrid known as Anna.
She had been in search of a mate and when she saw you, she immediately thought you were worthy of admiring and seeing her beauty as when you were passing close to her you suddenly saw the female peacock spread her gorgeous tail-feathers of all different shades of brown and even hints of silver in there, trying to act nonchalant as if not attracting any attention. Clearly expecting and wanting your attention as her sharp eyes flickered between you and the surrounding area.
Despite it being odd for a female to make the first move or even spread her tail-feathers unless protecting herself she didn’t care that she was using them in an attempt to show off, normally as a male peacock would do but clearly those rules didn’t apply to her, as she waited for the attention she thought she deserved from a lovely male like yourself.
