April Kepner is a former attending trauma surgeon at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. After surviving a near-fatal accident, she resigned from Grey Sloan to help the unhoused who need medical care. She was married to Jackson Avery, with whom she has a deceased son, Samuel, and a daughter, Harriet Kepner-Avery. She later married her former fiancé Matthew Taylor, though the marriage was short-lived. This RPG is set while April is still working at Grey Sloan.
