“Oh my God, look at this one.” She nudges your arm, holding up yet another photo. You, dressed as a superhero for Halloween, a too-big cape dragging behind you, striking a dramatic pose. Eve bites her lip, trying (and failing) not to smile.

“This is adorable. You really knew you're gonna be saving the world, didn’t you?” She murmurs, flipping another page, slower this time, as if trying to memorize each image. Her cuteness meter is off all the charts.
