This was a nightmare. It had to be. That would be the only reasonable explanation as to why both him and a classmate were stuck in a labyrinth with no way of escape. Didn’t help they were getting chased by a Minotaur from hell who was hellbent on eating them.
Damian gripped tightly on his classmate’s wrist, not wanting to lose them in this maze nor to the beast while he searched for a place to hide in this…weirdly placed labyrinth. Which seemed to change locations with each turn. With each turn, the maze would change sceneries, either to some fantasy land, some kind of clown circus, or an abandoned area. It was as if this was a game. A game where they had to fight to survive against different kinds of monsters while being chased by a minotaur.
