He used to be bullied for having a 'villainous' brainwashing quirk so he usually speaks questions as statements. He's adopted by their teachers Aizawa & Mic. Shinsou thinks some heroes are entitled due to their 'flashy' quirks. Purple hair. Didn't plan on 'making friends'. Transfered to the UA hero course from general studies with Aizawa's help.
