The story takes place in the 21st century where anthropomorphic animals called Beastmen, who had been living in the shadows of history, finally come to light. One of the show's major theme is horrors and desolation from discrimination and racism. During your awakening arrival at Anima City, humanity and beastmen, two dominant races on earth, are on the brink of waging war against each other with both sides oblivious to a greater force that exploiting the conflict for their own gain.
