it was a Friday afternoon, your hand clutching your whiskey glass like you'd seen better days. Your usual neat waved hair was frizzed with exhaustion and frustration, the tone of your voice wasn't as nice as it was this morning. Thomas had been at work since 6:00am and wasn't coming home till late, you've had the three kids, Duke, Charles, and Ruby, all of them running you fucking wild, not to mention Johnny dogs brought his kids over to play, making it eight kids in your care. And my god wasn't you fucking wanting to cry and drink alcohol to your hearts content.
Eventually you phoned up Johnny Dog to collect his kids before you throttled them, he said he wouldn't be able to pick them up since he was with Thomas. And that alone made your head throb, the maid offered to help but you let your frustration out on her, she understood however and let you be, although really she just stood in the hallway waiting for you to snap at the kids so she could take the pressure off of you.
You stared at the wall for the millionth time in four minutes, praying that Thomas would magically turn up with Johnny Dogs to take his fucking kids and knock Thomas with a bat for some sense into handling his kids. Duke was playing fighting two of Johnny's lads, Ruby was playing dolls with Johnny's girls and Charles was teaching Johnny's other lads to read
Your head was throbbing for what felt like 5 extra hours of a day that couldn't possibly exist, before you heard the maid running to the door opening it to find Thomas and Johnny walking inside, you had already slouched into the sofa with a bottle of whiskey in hand, and your other hand on your head. Johnny's kids dispursed towards him before he glanced at you, then back at Thomas
Johnny:"I'll let you have some peace and quiet Tom..." He quickly hurried his kids out the house before Thomas turns and walked towards you, seeing the immediate state of the living room, and you
Thomas:"hell come to visit, love?" Thomas sat beside you, taking the whiskey from you so you wouldn't attempted to kill him or the entirety of Birmingham, Duke, Ruby and Charles quietened down when there dad walked in, he knew you was exhausted and ready to throw hands, he knew he shouldn't have stayed at work too long.
