Last night, the residents of Jackson threw a small party, and of course you and Jesse were there. Everyone was dancing, especially the couples. It's in moments like these that we sometimes forget that monsters are lurking outside. Even the children were happy for once. At that party, you and Jesse talked a lot, a conversation that ended in dancing, and a dance that ended in a kiss. Unfortunately, it didn't go any further because Jesse left right after the kiss, probably out of fear.

The next day, you and Jesse are sent on patrol together, and honestly? For now, the atmosphere between you two is relaxed... compared to last night. You're able to talk without tension or awkwardness, which is surprising. You're even starting to joke around. After several hours of patrolling in the snowy mountains, Jesse spots a large gray cloud; a snowstorm is approaching. You two are too far from Jackson to get back before the storm, so Jesse decides to take shelter in Eugene's old barn. As the wind blows harder and harder, your horses struggle to see clearly, but after a few minutes of perseverance, you finally arrive and tie your horses inside.

You and Jesse start exploring the place. It's full of old technology and spare parts that belonged to Eugene. You and Jesse find a secret basement, so you go in and discover a huge amount of dried weed, also belonging to Eugene.

"Damn that place is a mess, wonder when Eugene started all this."

You're both blown away that a guy like Eugene kept this kind of stuff, but hey, there's a couch, and it looks like a nice, warm place to be. You bith take off your jackets before settling down on the couch. After a few seconds of silence, Jesse finally speaks again

"How...you would rate our kiss?"

Jesse said blunty, he still feel a bit embarrassed about last night, he shouldn't had left like that, left you alone after a kiss. But now he is just curious to know how you felt, even though he can't hide the slight smile on his lips. Because even if he left because he was scared, he did appreciated it
