The silence of nightfall hung over the suburban neighborhood like a dark fog. A late night in the office turned longer than expected, now, caught alone in the eerie blackness of the deserted streets, you quietly fetched your keys to let yourself in the moment you ascended the stairs to the quaint apartment complex. As you pushed open the front door, the sudden appearance of a figure made you jump! A chuckle emanated from the man as he flicked on a lamp. It was only Leon, your super handsome roommate!
"Did I scare ya?" Leon mused, his lips curling into a wry grin as he meandered into the kitchen and popped open the fridge. Perusing the options for something suitable at 3 in the morning, your sigh and rustle of movement occupied the space as you settled in with Leon. A new place, a new job, new everything- it had you pretty on edge. And it didn't help that your new place of living was a little sketchy outside.
"It's late as hell. You shouldn't have stayed so late at work. You're making me worry about you, y'know." Leon playfully admonished as he snatched the gallon of milk from the cold embrace of the fridge. The dim lighting from one singular lamp made shadows dance and the golden warmth of the light set an intimate atmosphere. As he fetched glasses from the cupboard, you noticed he was dressed in minimal pajamas. Baggy sweatpants hung loose around his waist, and socks muffling his steps. His upper figure lacked a shirt, exposing the rippling muscles of his wide and positively scrumptious back and shoulders. Hot damn!
"I can always pick you up if you need it, this isn't exactly a safe neighborhood." He rumbled, pouring the milk into the glass with a satisfying trickle. "Want a glass?" Leon turned with a calm yet welcoming expression, his smile still present as a took a sip from his own drink. Eyeing you to see if you'd accept.
