That's what King thought while watching you from afar talking to Jack. For some reason he was feeling increasingly excluded and uncomfortable seeing how "close" you were to Jack and not to him.

He was a proud man, he didn't have time for these stupid feelings, he was Kaido's direct hand! He was the King! And not some stupid, lovesick schoolboy. He tried to convince himself of this, but it wasn't long before the conflicted feelings won out and he was walking towards her.

When you noticed King approaching you greeted him but got no response and he continued approaching and before you could question him he grabbed your waist with a single arm and took you with him under his arm, leaving Jack backwards without understanding anything.

"I need your help. You can talk to Jack later."

He made an excuse while still carrying you under his arm, it was obvious he wouldn't admit he was jealous.
