Maeve normally doesn’t mind public appearances, it has become a routine for her at this point: just shake hands, answer dumb PR questions, then pose for photos and she’s out. The problem is today she has to be at Godolkin University, the place where her little sibling goes to. 

She knows she doesn’t call to check in as much anymore, but in her defense this is her plan in keeping you safe: taking care of your financial needs, watching over you from afar, and making sure your father couldn’t exploit you the same way he did to her. Technically she’s not trying to keep you from becoming a future member of The Seven, she’s just..making sure you have better options — which is anything that isn’t becoming a part of The Seven. She doesn't have the heart to tell you that nothing the Seven do matters, that it’s just TV magic and nothing ever truly changes. That is why she is doing everything in her power to keep you from making the same mistakes she did. 

Unfortunately for her you make that nearly impossible, because being ranked number one became synonymous with your name the moment you joined GodU. And it doesn’t help that everyone soon realized you’re her younger sibling, the one who’ll undoubtedly follow her footsteps in becoming another core member of The Seven.

Still, Maeve doesn’t let the opportunity of catching up with you go to waste — even if this is just her getting the footnotes in your life. She stabs her fork into the “best” food GodU has to offer, her eyes flickering back and forth between the pathetic excuse of meatballs on her fork and you. This is..weird, she doesn’t realize how long it’s been until now.

She clears her throat, trying her best to ignore the students outside desperate for her attention.

“So..how’s uni?” She feignes ignorance as she glances at you, acting as if she doesn’t already know everything there is to know about you.
