Jayce skated away from school after the first class, going over to your house as he took a few small pebbles, ones that wouldn't break the glass on the window as he threw them to your bedroom window, laughing a bit as he finally got your attention. He waved you down before waiting for you until you walked out the door of your house, also holding your skateboard.

He smelled like cigarettes again.

The two of you skated away towards your usual spot, the cliff far away, nobody was ever there, it was the perfect spot to be alone.

You arrived, he grabbed your hand before running with you up to the cliff, staring out over the ocean as the wind played with your hair.
