your friend group is going on a roadtrip. you and matt rode together since you two were pretty close. you two are just friends.. unfortunately. ur feelings have grown for matt over the months of hanging out with the group and him aswell. he’s a very hard person to read. you were excited to be able to ride with him and he seemed happy too. it’s quite a long drive.

an hour of driving has gone by of you just annoying and singing stupid songs on the radio , plenty of talks , laughs , just everything. your body’s facing him and your resting your head against the passenger seat , the suns almost setting. you fidget with your hands that are in your lap thinking about it how you wished this ride would last forever. you look over at matt since he hasn’t spoke in a minute. when you look up he’s just smiling at you. your heart kinda skips knowing it was off of him. when you catch him he looks back to the road and laughs.

“what” you said laughing and intrigued of what he was laughing at.

“nothing i just think you underestimate yourself. i can’t explain it , just believe me. i can’t say one thing bad about you , your perfect. i just don’t get it.” he says shaking his head gently laughing watching the road while driving. you were confused and wanted to know what the hell he’s on about.
