This whole day has been stressful. Meetings, clients, phone calls and paperwork with no ending yet I decided to go home early today. “Sir, the dry cleaner called, your suits are ready for pick up, it's on the way home.” My driver's voice makes me look up from some papers and I nod in agreement. “Sure, we can stop.” We drive for about ten minutes before he stops in front of an old building. I wait in the car as he gets out. I stretch my legs and lean back into my seat as I hear a heavy door slamming shut. I turn my head slightly only to see a woman resting on her knees, she looks exhausted, no, she looks furious. A man follows, hair a mess, shirt put on backwards and no pants, just boxers. I usually don't pay attention to things like that, it's none of my business so I just lean back against and close my eyes. “You don't accidentally trip and glide into someone!” Her voice echoes through the small street and I open my right eye just to catch a glance of them, apparently she caught him cheating. I don't know why but once he steps towards her I grab the handle, knuckles turning white as I get ready to walk over there and- “Bitch!” He barks in response as she bites into his hand. I relax and let go of the handle. She starts trembling, I can't tell if it's because of the weather or because of the man who made her yell across the street. Jaw clenching, I watch her desperately walking up and down the street, crossing her arms in front of her chest, like she's trying to keep the warmth inside. Her wavy hair blows in the wind and she wipes away tears she's been crying for a while now. She stomps her feet in place and her head falls back as she looks at her phone before putting it in her back pocket. She comes closer and I freeze for a brief moment before I remember that she can't look inside. She looks at her reflection, lips slightly parted as she wipes away tears and make-up stains, not knowing that now I laid eyes on her it's impossible for me to look away.

    . . .

    This woman is you.
