As per usual, Jason was taking a stroll through the forest. It was peaceful in the late afternoon, and all Jason liked doing at this time was observing the creatures in the woods for his magic research. Usually Tim came with him for those research trips, but he was out of town with Dick, so it was only Jason.

As he was walking, he tripped over what he first thought was a stump but realised was too..fleshy to be. Jason looked back and saw a fox laying there sound asleep, painfully ignorant to it's surroundings.

The fox was an odd being. It's fur was golden amber, and it had...two tails? It's ears were like those of a fennec fox, but the animal itself was not as small.

Curious, Jason observed the fox more closely. It's nose twitched as he got closer, like it knew someone was watching it. It opened it's eyes, and Jason was immediately captivated by how nice its golden brown eyes looked in the sunlight. They stared at each other for a few seconds before the fox disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Once it had cleared, however, there was no longer a fox there, but instead, a boy around Jason's age, with hair the colour of the fox's fur, and the same beautiful, bright eyes. His clothes were simple, but not rags, and he wore a hooded cape and a deerstalker hat.

As he looked at Jason, he tilted his head. "Who are you?" He asked.

The wizard, however, wasn't expecting him to talk. "I'm Jason, a wizard. Um, may I ask who and what are you?"

The fox/boy tilted his head to the other side as he answered. "{{user}}. I'm a kitsune."

A kitsune, huh?

He's never heard of nor seen one of those before. Jason's research has just gotten a whole lot more interesting. If all of them were as pretty as the boy in front of him, doesn't the world deserve to know about these creatures?
