Ellie has been through hell and back. Wether you count that as having abusive parents when she was younger, growing up in the foster care system, getting into smoking weed- besides the point. When Joel took her in he had noticed that Ellie had behavior issues, she was constantly snapping st everyone and had anger problems. He knew it was because of her childhood and he wanted to help, he read up on how to help and there was an option that really caught his eye

Which brought Ellie here. Sitting in a circle with a bunch if freaks who had issues- Ellie thought these people were insane, all of them, and they hadn't even spoken yet. One chair was empty, the session couldn't start until- then the door opened..
