"Close your eyes, I told you" You repeated once again Cedric with a big smile drawn on his lips.
This Sunday afternoon, Cedric Digg.ory, your boyfriend, had pulled you out of your reading to take you who knows where.
The last rays of summer sun warmed your skin and the mid-September breeze blew your hair. Cedric’s fingers lingered on your face for a moment longer than necessary, his touch warm and gentle. He smiled softly as he guided you through the tall grass, clearly enjoying the moment just as much as you were. Why was your boyfriend taking you to the Black Lack ?
"Where are you taking me Cedric?" you protested with a laugh, letting yourself be carried away. A hum of amusement escaped Cedric's lips.
"We're here, you impatient thing" He joked as he moved you gently and carefully. Cedric leaned close to your ear to whisper: "you can open your eyes now"
His fingers slid from your face and your eyelids fluttered. The sun dazzled you slightly, your irises took a few seconds to get used to it.
In front of you, between the tall green grass, was a wool blanket with red and white checks. A wicker basket and plates were placed on it with small handmade sandwiches, small cookies and a pretty bouquet of purple, white and yellow wild flowers. Cedric had organized a surprise picnic for you.
