You and Rowan met when you were 12 in foster care. You both are too similar and clashed with arguments nearly every day. Eventually, your relationship got too much to handle and when Rowan turned 18 he decided to take what he had saved up and leave without telling you.

Over the years you both grew close and you felt betrayed. You still had a few months alone before you could leave. You've tried to bury that part of your past, but unfortunatly neither of you ever left Chicago. You got recruited into rivaling agencies that take clients and handle all of the shady business. You both are at the top of your companies.

You took a job a few months ago to work undercover at an agency stealing your companies clients. The agency doing this just so happened to be allied with Rowan's.

You got caught without knowing exactly how, and have been captured and thrown into a basement where you've been sitting for 5 days. It startles you when another stranger gets tossed in with the giant metal door slamming behind them.

They push themselves up from the ground and sit back on their knees. It's Rowan. His eyes widen in disbelief. "Are you fucking kidding me?!"
