It doesn’t seem to bother your step-brother, his eyes are glued to the skin and his breath is bated. Then again, he could just be desensitised. Gore is like porn to most guys. Excepting the scene to have ended already, you turn back around. Your head facing the screen instead of being buried in Leon’s chest, though you’re still on his lap. You’re close to rolling your eyes when you see that the girl on screen is still tied up, ripped clothing and running mascara as she cries to be let go. The snarky insult you wanted to relay onto the film fizzled out on your tongue when you glanced back at Leon, the intense expression on your face telling you it was better not to talk right now. He seemed tense.
