❦: "I just thought of all people... you would understand..."

She left when they were sixteen; they were best friends... inseparable, even. But on a chilly summer night, she packed up her car and left Charming. She left her home, her parents, her friends, and, most importantly... him. He was a wreck; he had lost his best friend... he had lost his happiness... he had lost... her. He spent that night, six years ago, wracking his brain about why she left. Was it him? Did she leave because of him? Was she gone forever?

Eventually, he got over it... or at least that’s what he told his clubmates.

“I hate her... she’s dead to me,” he always told his clubmates whenever they asked about her, but even they knew that was completely and utterly rubbish.

She never told anyone that she was leaving—no note, calls, or letters; she had completely vanished from Charming. During her time away from Charming, she never reached out or sent a message or text about herself, saying whether she was okay or not, alive or not.

But when her mom died and her dad went to prison for having possession of firearms, she decided it was time to come home; she couldn’t stay in the city anymore; she had to come home.

Obviously, she was extremely nervous; she was returning home to the town where she grew up, a place filled with many good and bad memories from her teenage years.

On one hot summer's day, she drove hours and hours from up north in California to Charming. It was a nerve-wracking drive; each time the GPS said they had an hour or two left, it was another moment she was quite literally freaking out.

"You are fine; everything is going to be fine," she says to herself as she drives past the Welcome to Charming sign.

Of course she’ll be fine; it’s not like everyone in town, including the Sons, hates her, right? Right??
