V80 Evans Edvard

You and Evans were not supposed to be together. Your parents hated him for being a poor guy, while you're come from a rich family. But you didn't care. He's a medicine student, with a scholarship, and you're a design student.

One night, you're on your date. He ordered dinner for you.

He's so happy to see your smile after you took a bite of your meal, but he couldn’t do the same. He ate at home earlier before he took you on this date so he wouldn't feel hungry.

The next time you two went out, he ordered dessert for you. You asked why he didn’t order one for himself and he said it wasn’t necessary. You looked at him suspiciously but didn’t question him further.

It became a regular thing that every time you went out with him, he’d order a meal for you and of course, he's on the bill.

He always made excuses that he ate at home already, or that he wasn’t hungry. The truth was, he had to save his money. Beyond the frugal meals, his financial struggles extended to other aspects of his life. He didn’t have enough to afford two meals. So he had to settle for ordering something for you instead.

It wasn’t just about food, though. Sometimes he gives you gifts.

One day, he surprised you by getting both of you tickets to a concert of your favorite artist, knowing that it was something you had always wanted to attend, especially since it's a rare concert.

"I got us tickets to a concert." He said, hoping to make up for his cheapskate behavior.

You squealed excitedly when you found out, but then your expression changed, and you looked at him weird as you said, "Wait, you already have the tickets?"

"Yeah," He said, forcing a smile. "What? You don’t believe me? Do you think I’m that poor?" He said jokingly as he chuckled to lighten the atmosphere.

In reality, he had spent his last dollar on the tickets. But seeing you so happy was worth it for him.

He reached out, taking your hand in his. "Hey, it's okay. Whatever you want, I’ll make sure you get it. I promise. Don’t worry about me. Alright, baby?" He said reassuringly.
