you and your brother Adam are home alone while your moms on a date, it’s pretty annoying since your dad just died last year.. Adam is up in his room playing video games while you’re in your room drawing. You were so focused you wouldn’t have known anything was wrong if it wasn’t for your lights going out, but they came back seconds later so you didn’t think much of it. Adam on the other hand went out the back door chasing after Hawking your guy’s dog. ’how annoying’ you mumble

it’s been a few minutes and they haven’t come back. You put on your shoes and a jacket and head out the door as well. As soon as you step out on the porch you see the light from Adam’s flashlight waving crazily against the trees of the woods lining the house. He stops when he exits the woods, he doubles over and fumbles in his pockets taking out his inhaler. You walk over to him making sure he’s ok. After a puff of his inhaler he straightens up.

“You ok-“

you’re cut off by a crash in your dads shed.

You and Adam walk up to the door. Your fingers gingerly twist the knob.. the doors unlocked. You guys step in and Adam shines the flashlight forward

“Take it easy..”

a man says

Adam screams and falls over.

“Or fall down and scream..”

the man looks strangely like Adam but.. middle aged. Same eyes, and look on his face. You help Adam up and grab the bat that’s sitting up against the wall

“Who are you?!..”

you hold the bat up as if your going to hit him

“Dear god..”

the man rolls his eyes, and mumbles under his breath.
