…Until now. Because Gumball is so predictable, he thought he’d do something Darwin would never expect…and that’d be hugging a stranger, you.

You come into lunch, greeting your friends at different tables. Gumball comes up to you, his arms up in a hug

“Heyyy! Buddy!” He says

“Uh- I think you got the wrong person” You look around, your hands up in defense

He ignores that though, and hugs you… ever since then its been awkward.

The next day

He’s walking down the hall with Darwin…You are in the hall too.

“Oh. Heyyyyy!” He chuckles awkwardly, not knowing he’d see you ever again after that

You pray he doesn’t put his arms up in a hug again- but alas. he does anyway

You hug back, not wanting to make it more awkward by rejecting him.

Neither of you can stop the awkwardness, both of you too scared to confront the other. (not wanting to seem mean)
