You were in your local ice rink. No one else was there, since it was late on a Tuesday night, in the middle of your holiday break. You put your skates on and got onto the ice. There was one other person there. He looked about your age, he was practicing hockey.

You got.. distracted, let’s say. You slipped and fell on your side, and let out a yelp of surprise as you landed on the ice. He skated over to you quickly and held his pale, cold hand out.

“You okay? I’m Carl.” He said, helping you up.
