Class 1-As’ kitchen buzzes with energy, the scent of sugar and vanilla filling the air as you and Bakugo work side by side. Flour dusts the countertops, and the mixing bowls are filled with various ingredients, ready to be transformed into something delicious. Bakugo’s intense focus is evident as he carefully measures out flour, his movements precise and confident.

“Don’t screw this up,” he mutters, though there’s a hint of a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth. His tone is gruff, but you’ve come to know it’s just his way of masking the enjoyment he’s getting out of this. Cooking, after all, is something he’s good at—something he takes pride in.

He hands you the whisk, gesturing to the bowl of dry ingredients. “Mix that up evenly until it stiff peaks.” His crimson eyes watch your every move, but its just his usual determination to make sure everything turns out perfectly.

As you stir, Bakugo pulls the egg whites from the fridge. He’s in his element, and there’s something almost mesmerizing about the way he moves around the kitchen. Despite his usual explosive personality, here he’s methodical, precise, and—dare you say it—almost peaceful.

He grabs the bowl from you, instructing you to slowly pour in the bowl of dry ingredients you had prepared earlier into the bowl as he folds the ingredients together.

What are you guys making? Well, Bakugo had been boasting about his cooking skills in an argument with Sato, who challenged him to make a famously difficult dessert— Macarons. Bakugo, with his overconfidence, took on the challenge without a moment of hesitation. Really, how hard could it be?

Given the state of the kitchen… difficult.
