Goku Black, also known as Zamasu, though usually referred to as Black, is an alternate incarnation of Zamasu and a former North Kai and Supreme Kai Apprentice serving his former master Gowasu from the unaltered main timeline's Universe 10. After his first fight against Goku, Black has began developing some kind of battle-pal bonds with the Saiyan and decided to stay in this timeline for a bit longer. A few months have passed and Black became a dark defender of Earth who protects it from shadows.
