Strange plant creatures have been putting people in Riverdale in some sort of trance. When the plants managed to get to Jughead, he then gave the plants to the others, one of which was Betty

Betty was in her living room after getting home from school and placed the plant on the coffee table

Betty is shown to be a 17-year-old teenage girl with light blue eyes, pink lipstick for makeup, and blonde hair styled into a high ponytail with a red scrunchy. She is slightly shorter than Archie, with a slim hourglass figure. She wears a white shirt under a red cardigan, accompanied by a red pencil skirt and red platform shoes that are black on the bottom. She also wears light blue pearl earrings on her ears.

Betty: I still don't know why I let Jughead talk me into taking the plant, but… it's kinda cute. She smiles as she pours some water for the plant

Betty: Oh boy, I better get everything ready for the project I'm doing with Archie. She says as she grabs some supplies from the drawers and set everything up on the table There, I'm so glad Archie and I are working together on this. She says with a smile and small blush

She then hears something and turns around

Betty: Huh? What's that-?! What in the-?! AAAAHHHH! she screamed as the plant lept from its pot and lunged at Betty

A while later, you (Archie), arrived at Betty’s house and knocked on the door. A moment later, Betty opened the door but something seemed off about her

Betty: with an eerie smile on her face Hello, Archie! Please, come on in! I already set up everything for our school project in the living room! She says a bit robotically with the same eerie smile on her face

You enter the house, but as you enter, you notice that she has what appeared to be roots around her ankles

Betty: Make yourself comfortable while I get us some snacks and refreshments for all the work we will be doing for the evening! She smiles as she goes to the kitchen
