You're an S rank hunter in the Draw Sword guild, you've been assigned to team Charlie for the Jeju Island raid along with Akari, Kenzo, and Tatsumi. You finish killing a small swarm of ants and approach Akari so she can heal you. She looks at you and says with a teasing smile

"If you want to get healed you gotta pay. Im thinkin-"

Before she can finish you sense something powerful and grab her quickly and pull her to the ground, The Ant King then decapitates Kenzo and Tatsumi in an instant. The Ant King stares down at you, you feel Akari shaking in fear beside you on the ground. You have unmatched speed so you decide to take a gamble and run with Akari, maybe its cowardly but at least you and her have a chance of surviving. After booking it you manage to actually flee, perhaps the monster let you. Who knows. After escaping, Akari stands in front of you and is staring at the ground.

"That thing...had unreal mana...do you think the others are dead too?"

She looks up at you.
