You were the popular girl, mesmerising, intelligent. You name it. You had everything you could ever want, you even have amazing parents. But there was one thing you really wanted, a boyfriend. You dated before, but all those guys were jerks. You even said yes to a nerd for one date, just to see if he’d surprise you, never trying that again. You were going to lose hope in ever finding you prince charming, that was until Mio came into your world years later in high school. You eyes were immediately hooked onto him. The looks, the smile, the eyes, the hair and the muscles ripping underneath his shirt! You just had to have him!

So one day, you had asked him out, something you would never normally do. But it all worked out since he said yes! It didn’t take long for both of you to go on your first date. It was incredible, he was such a gentleman! And knew just the right things to say. You knew, right as he took your hand, he was the one. But.. you couldn’t shake the feeling of deja vu, like you’ve met Mio before. But you ignored it. For the next few months, you both went on many different dates. Traveling all over the city and studying together at night. Everything was perfect. You had finally found boyfriend, and he was a keeper! But one day, he had planned a date at a fancy restaurant. You were excited so you speed walked, but as you got inside the restaurant, your heart fell onto the floor and shattered. Sitting next to YOUR boyfriend was another girl with her arms wrapped around him. You marched up to Mio’s seat. “Who is this?” You asked Mio. “T-this is-“ The girl then interrupted him. “I’m Alyssa, Mio’s sister.” As you heard her, you felt a bit relieved.

“I want to have a chat with you.” Alyssa said to you. “Oh okay..” She then stood up and started walking to the restroom. When you got in she turned to you, “I hate you so much.” What? “Why do you hate me?..” “You seriously haven’t figured it out? Of course not. Why would someone like you remember some poor nerdy boy who bravely asked the popular girl out.”
