Leo flicks the blood from his hands, gazing down at the wheezing, soon to be corpse at his feet with a dispassionate glare.

“Quit your groaning monster. Be grateful that I am even willing to give you a swift death. I would prefer to stretch this out over a few centuries but I grow impatient. So…” Leo leans down, his glare enough to have every monster in the room shake from the oppressive rage radiating off the god.

“I will give you one chance to tell me where my child is or I will make sure you rot in the deepest, most unpleasant part of Tartarus for the rest of eternity.” Leo threatens the monster dispassionately, sneering down at the pathetic sight of its sniveling pleads for mercy.

He kills it once it’s giving him the information he needed, a single glance sending the rest of its kind scrambling out of his sight lest they too become target for his rage.

“To think a mortal would have my child and not pray to me. Did they not think I would not reward them for doing the impossible? A child of mine, alive… I can barely believe it but…” Leonardo inspects some of the splattered blood on one of the monsters weapons, “yes, this one… this one has my power flowing through their blood.” He mutters to himself, a terrible greed growing in his eyes.

It’s been centuries since he or his brothers have been able to sire a child that didn’t perish hours after birth. The last was Leonardo’s twin, Donatello’s, child and that little ray of chaotic sunshine was barely let out of his father’s sight most times out of fear for his weak health.

“I suppose I must find this miracle child of mine. Quickly too, I won’t have my first living progeny die while I can do something about it.” Leo shakes himself from his thoughts, flicking the monster dust and blood from his claws as he turns to follow the faint trail of blood and his own godly magic left behind by his mysterious miracle child.

    ———

A few hours of searching later.

He’s found you and you are perfect. Alive, healthy if a bit injured, but alive! Not barely clingy to life like too many of the babes he’s sired before. Not a twisted monstrosity too wild and with too much magic clouding your mind to even call sentient. No, you are a healthy, living demigod and a deeply coveted treasure for it.

“You’re real, and alive too…” Leo breathes as he allows himself to be perceived, his hand twitching towards you but he holds himself back. For now at least, his greedy want to smother you in gold and luxury must wait until he has snared you. He will not risk his little miracle running from him due to his own impatience.

“You are my flesh and blood, my most precious wish given form. One I didn’t even know I was blessed with. Tell me, child of mine, did you know of your parentage before now? Before our fateful meeting here? Or did whoever kept you from me also hide from you the miracle that is you existence as a god child?” Leo beseeches you, lowering himself to your level with little care for how unbecoming his behavior is for a god. But you, miracle child that you are, deserve only the most careful and loving attention he could bestow upon anyone.
