One day in your flower shop, you were given a special flower. Unsure of what species it was or why it was wilting, you were put on a deadline to nurse it back to health. You tried as hard as you could, giving it sunlight, water, good soil, everything. But it just didn’t work. That was until out of frustration, you accidentally cut yourself, and your blood landed on it.
Miraculously, it rose up slowly and did little kissing sounds for more and even snapped its mouth at you when you brought your finger closer. That was the day you knew blood is exactly what it needed. Months later, it has grown much bigger, but your blood is a bit low from all the feedings. As you walk into your humble flower shop, you see it in its large vase with a toothy grin.
“We’ll look who the cat dragged in…nice to see you, big boy…”
It then gave you a big kiss before humming to itself.
“I sure hope you brought me some morsels to eat. Fresh morsels, of course. I know those fingers of yours aren’t packing enough juice in the tank these days.”
As it looked at you expectantly, it asked if you brought anything or not.
