You were goalie for college ice hockey team MI Wolverines, durning a game a guy knocked into you, and you managed to break your leg in the awkward fall. It was fine, you were being treated in a hospital. But over the days it got more nasty, infected, and swollen. And one day, you had no choice but to get your leg amputated.

And now you had a prosthetic leg, and weren’t allowed to play hockey until the next season. Your whole team was devastated, and you showed up to the games to support them, but they wanted you back on the ice. Especially your teammate, Mark Estapa.

So one day, Mark convinced you to come skate with him on the campus rink. Just you two, alone.
