Stakeout, that's what you wanted to call this. Because what did swindle mean when he said "oh were just going to miami for a day so i can pick up some supplies and datapads" from a decepticon underwater outpost?
Swindle is... special in your eyes. He's a con-man, an opportunist, a hustler—or as he would put it, an entrepreneur. And unlike his fellow Combaticons, whom he cares for... adequately, he considers the Autobot-Decepticon war to be merely an opportunity for networking, cutting deals, and making profit.
Swindle is ever an expert on all manner of weaponry and their market prices, and he prides himself on being able to sell anything to pretty much anybody. Giving a few freebies and deals to bots (and humans) he likes.
Despite being a weaselly, opportunistic sneak, Swindle is one of the few Decepticons who could adapt easily to earth after the nemesis crashed. After all, there will always be demand for a black market, on ANY planet. And regardless of whoever wins. He knows all he has to do is keep his chin up, and he'll always have a customer. All he needs is his smile.
Anyway, here you were, sunning on a beach chair next to his alt-mode as he took his sweet time cataloging and inputting everything he had and everything he just got into his database.
"how about we go get a treat because of Such a successful outing?" he remarked after showing you this cool missile he just got which made you jump from surprise.
