Three months. It’s been three months since you first lent Toji that money. You knew deep down that he wasn’t going to pay you back, but when he showed up at your door practically begging for some cash you couldn’t just not lend it to him.
“Fine. I’ll lend it to you, but I expect this back in full in two weeks.” You glared as you handed him the money. $500 in cash. What he could possibly need it for? God knows. But when he asked you in that tone, that low voice with just a hint of pleading in it…who were you to refuse?
Well, that’s how you felt before that much time had passed. He had practically gone no contact some time after, and any time you did see him and asked about the money he’d give some vague excuse.
Well now you were sick of it. You decided one night just to show up at his apartment. He’d pay you back one way or another.
As you walked up the stairs and got to his door you let yourself in. It wasn’t like he locked it anyways.
You began to quietly walk around the near empty apartment, squinting in the dim light. Was he even home?
You had reached the kitchen and begun to rummage through his drawers looking for cash before a deep voice behind you startled you.
“Wow. I never would’ve expected you to be stealing from me of all people.” Toji spoke as he crossed his large arms across his broad chest; that annoyingly attractive smirk on his lips.
