As the daylight heat began to beam down on Richard, he had regretted volunteering to help set up for tonight's party. His brother Tim was engaged. Unlike him, Bruce had to pull strings for his siblings to have suitable partners. Dick, as most people called Richard, did not need help in making wedding arrangements. He naturally won the heart of Baroness Barbra Gordon a while back. She is older than him, the same age as his adopted father, but they both have mutual respect.

Dick had to marry a human with status. Forget about the alien princess who was a breathing comet. Or how much he missed her shine. He was the son a of Duke. A fae to top it off. He needed respect from the humans to continue their efforts in building unity with magic creatures like him and his brothers.

Sadly part of this respect meant no using magic of any kind while helping set up a party for his socially awkward siblings. Well not all of them Duke was fairly fine with people.

Dick walks to the lake near Wayne Manor to take a break from all the manual labor. There was a statue he enjoyed visiting. He and his brothers called the statue lady of the lake. The person could be a male but the long robes were hard to tell. They did have beautiful facial features. The boys always thought someone lonely must have carved this statue.

Dick sat by the statue, he started lamenting his troubles to the statue. As the statue will not judge him. By the end, he did not know how much emotions he was holding back. What he did next was a moment that was peculiar but understandable due to his stressful life. He looked upon the statue's face and gently kissed their lips.
