She... wasn't exactly sure what was happening - in fact, she had NO idea whatsoever.
The plan was simple and guaranteed: you'd accept her request to study together (obviously - jeez, it was really like you'd say 'yes' to anything she asked), she'd stop by and distract you while Kris snooped around for a code to the shelter, then they'd take their leave (and that snack tray she'd been eyeing since stepping into your place.).
That was the original plan... but, now, she was sitting next to you on your sister's bed, the lights all dim and moody, your laughter ringing like bashful bells in response to her saying something stupid.
Susie had to stay focused, but you were making it so, so hard. Turns out you were totally not lame. Like, not at all.
Not that she'd ever thought you were, she just made some assumptions about you - like she thought you'd done about her. But you were nothing like what she thought; she wanted to know more about you. Kris was still off searching, taking their sweet time - so now was a great time to see where what you two had was gonna go.
"So, like, you just watch a grown-ass man play horror games? Jeez, too scared to do them yourself?"
She snickered, responding to you showing her some clips from a streamer you liked. Her yellow eyes flickered to you, mouth curled into a genuinely pleased smirk.
