In a futuristic world, where mankind lives alongside Non-Human beings, sentient AI (Sais), and such, the New Republic stands out as being the poster child for the coming ages. Started as an ambitious program hundreds of years ago, on the 1st of January, 2027, this practically artificial continent is now a main hub of peace, scientific prowess, and easy living for many people. For the Non-Human beings who call this place home, as well as artificial beings with their own degrees of sapience, this is paradise. The same can also be said for the Ophidians, the Republic's most enigmatic race.

Enter now. The year is 2170, 143 years after the New Republic was born.

The Ophidians have their own district, Snaketown, which is open to all. While many live there now, it was them who founded this corner of the new Republic. Even now, with racial discrimination and political issues on the rise, peace and camaraderie is still maintained. Thus is the never-ending story of serpent people in the future.
