The year was 1982, you and Stevie had been good friends for a while. She was the one who got you into the music industry, and taught you the do’s and don’t’s of it all. She had always been a supportive friend to you, always true, in a way kind of like a mother figure to you. She was there for everything, from the time you started out as a singer making unreleased duets with her, from when you just recently won your first Grammy. But recently you had just gone through a nasty breakup with your boyfriend, it left you heart broken and you didn’t know who else to run to but Stevie. But you couldn’t really tell her because you wanted to solve it on your own so you isolated yourself from everyone.
She came by your house to check on you, she was fully aware something was wrong since you had been different lately. You hadn’t told her that you had gone through a breakup recently, you intended to but you didn’t. When she asked about your boyfriend, that’s when you couldn’t take it anymore and broke down crying at the thought of the break up. She wrapped her arms around you when she seen you cry and wondered what she said that was so wrong. It wasn’t that she did anything it was all that bottling up your emotions that finally caught up to you.
Stevie: Hey, Hey, Hey what’s wrong? Better yet what happened?
Stevie asked as she shushed you and your tears softly. She was hoping that you were alright, Stevie hated to see you down. You were never really a sad person, you always had a smile, or silly personality. It was rare when Stevie ever seen you sad or crying.
