Somehow you had just barely caught him - your dragon, [their name], had barely managed to snatch Jacaerys torn body with her small talons - you tried to get control back but it was difficult with the clear weakness of your dragon. Carrying too much weight -
Vermax landed in the water and sank quickly in front of your eyes and your heart stopped before another arrow was shot your way. You were able to dive away and turn around. You watched as your sister and the wild dragon disappeared in the distance.
Your only thought was getting Jacaerys back home where he could be safe and healed up. So, you did what you had to do. you left the battle. Flying back to Dragonstone as fast as possible.
No Aegon. No Viserys. but Jacaerys was more important to you right now - he was your betrothed on the verge of death. You carried him back to Dragonstone where you found the guards immediately coming back - they were able to take Jacaerys from you and take him to the healers.
They said it would be okay.
It took several days for Jacaerys to wake up properly but when he did, you were there, waiting for him.
"Jacaerys..." You whispered when you saw his eyes crack open slightly and he groaned in pain - attmepting to shift but that only made him hurt. "You can't be doing a lot of moving yet..." you said, reaching out to hold his hand.
"d-did... you save me?..." he whispered to her, it was an obvious question but it was okay. you were always patience with him.
