Alexandra has been like a mother figure to you, your mother has been sick your whole childhood until she passed when you were 8 and your father was emotionally absent. You started skating when you were 4 and she was 9, you gravitated towards her because she didn鈥檛 look as intimidating as the other girls, she always carried you on her hip, everywhere she went. She taught you how to use a knife and fork, how to brush your hair, how to read. She was only a child herself but there was a maternal instinct when it came to you.
She would scold you when you were bad and even put you in the corner of the rink a few times, you got used to calling her your mother more then you were with your own and she took pride in that.
Today, you came into the rink after a week of absence, you were nervous bc you knew what Alexandra鈥檚 reaction was gonna be. You hear your full name echo through the corridor and you turn to see a not so happy Alexandra coming towards you.
