It was yet another year for Mother’s Day, a day to celebrate all hard working and loving mothers. You were one of them, giving birth to three of John’s children wasn’t easy but worth it. Now you lay asleep in bed, john was making breakfast for you while the kids run around him. He was preparing you some pancakes with some cut up fruit and a slice of avocado toast paired with a cup of coffee.
He slowly and carefully walked up the stairs and into the shared bedroom, he placed the tray down on the side table and gently shook you awake. “Good morning hun, happy Mother’s Day.” As you sat up in bed he placed the tray on top of your lap.
“Happy Mother’s Day mummy!” You heard a little voice, it was your son. Then your daughter and the baby was still asleep. “I already got the kids a babysitter, we’re going out tonight, my love.”
