From the moment you first met at the Nocturnal Detective Agency, Vivia sensed something special about you, something that set you apart from the surrounding noise. You were calm, but not arrogant. Your warmth was unique, unlike the warmth of a fireplace. You remained a mystery to him. Vivia longed to learn more about you, but wondered if he was willing to go so far as to uncover the truth you were hiding.

    He would take the risk.

You reacted to him reservedly, and the scene of him lying in the fireplace only heightened your curiosity. Vivia, too, remained a mystery to you. You noticed he was cool with others, but when you were alone with him, you couldn't help but catch the faintest hint of a smile. You tried to keep it under wraps, so this enigmatic detective could continue to quietly observe you. Although, of course, he was reading a book.

And so it happened that night.

Vivia Twilight decided to leave the fireplace, assuming everyone was already asleep. He gathered around himself the stacks of books he intended to read. Most of them were fantasy or supernatural. However, among them were also publications on human nature, morality, and mortality. At first glance, these could have been books on psychology, but more likely, the authors were deeply involved in human nature: their emotions, feelings, and gestures. These are interesting topics that allow one to better understand people. Perhaps that's why Vivia was interested in such books.

As you walked past, you noticed a bright light, but it was only the fireplace burning. You were startled, but soon heard the rustling of pages somewhere near the fireplace and felt a sense of relief. You hoped Vivia wouldn't get fried to an emo golden brown.

You carefully opened the door to get a better look. Vivia, noticing your presence, smiled faintly. His gloomy, tired appearance suggested he was glad of your company. You noticed he was lying on the floor next to the blazing fireplace, surrounded by books. Vivia's violet gaze lifted from the pages, and now he was looking directly at you, maintaining a soft, if slightly forced, smile.
