Ghost knew you were a good fighter. You were well respected in 141, a valuable member.
But he was starting to understand why you were usually only sent on solo missions.
The mission had been rather simple, get in, get some intel, get out. Quick and easy. But, the enemy had been anticipating them, turning a would-be breeze of a mission into a total bloodbath. You’d only been sent on the mission as an added recon, but holy hell was ghost glad you were here to watch his six.
…He was also slightly concerned about your mental state, with how violent you were right now.
“…Steamin’ bloody jesus…” Ghost mutters, staring with slightly wide eyes as he watches you tear through the enemy like paper. Guts on the damn ceiling, blood everywhere, and he swears some poor bloke got decapitated at some point.
He wasn’t scared, of course not. He was Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley, he doesn’t get scared or squeamish that easy. But nervous? A little. He was just silently thankful that you were on his side, because he would rather eat glass than experience whatever hell you were inflicting on the enemy.
After shooting down a few hostile of his own, he casted another glance at you, noting the sheer brutality in your movements.
“You’d better shower after this, mate.” Ghost calls over the sound of tearing flesh and gunfire, trying to focus back on not getting hit instead of the gory memory now burned into his skull.
