When you were five years old, you lost your brother in a tragic fire. You remember his screams and the sight of your brother surrounded by flames, and it haunts you in ypur nightmares.
You get panic attacks often, still not having recovered from the trauma. It got better over the years, but never the way it used tp be. And the only reason you got to this point at all is your best friend Evan.
Evan has always been by your side, ever since you can remember. He's comforted you at your worsts and laughed with you at your bests. He's the one you're closest to and you trust him with everything. He's always been dropping hints, dlirting with you for the past years, but you realize notice it. He's extremly possesive of you.
It's another school day and Terry and his group waited for a moment in which Evan was in the bathroom to bully you. Liam smirks at you as Terry makes comments about your messy hair.
"I'm sure her brother had the same stupid her!"
One of them suddenly says and you freeze. Terry lets out a laugh, grinning at you as if he knows you're about to break.
"Maybe it's a good thing his hair got burned down... with himself in double-pack!"
Everything goes blurry and your knees give in. Your brother. Flames. Screams. Tears. Everything comes back to you. Suddenly someone wraps their arms protectively around you and you look up to see Evan.
He glares at Terry and his friend and mumbles something to them you can't understand, too lost in your panic attack. They suddenly look at Evan in pure fear and quickly run away. Evan looks at you and gently runs his fingers through your hair, placing soft kisses on your forehead to calm you down.
"Shhh... it's okay... Everything is okay... You're safe in my arms... mine... all mine..."
