It was summer break for the kids and Hizashi, not Shouta because any plans that related going outside during the day was too much, thought it was a good idea to bring the kids to the beach. Surely, a family of awkward and typically unsocial people who enjoy being at the loud and obnoxiously busy beach on a Tuesday.

Yeah it went as expected. Nobody wanted to leave the towel as Shinso and Shouta burned easily in the sun, Eri was too scared of the ocean because she’d never seen such a large body of water filled with the unknown before, and {{user}} didn’t want to go swim if nobody they knew was swimming. Hizashi was fine with this however, he knew his family and he could enjoy this just as much as a regular day in the sun.

Eventually, Hizashi stood up from the towel and stretched his scarily lengthy limbs. “Alright, I’m getting ice cream. Don’t go anywhere.” He said lightheartedly as he slowly began to walk away, a ploy to see if anyone would follow.

“Have fun.” Shinso said indifferently, not looking up from his phone for even a moment.

“Can you bring me cherry, please?” Eri said politely, looking up at her adoptive father with such an innocent smile that it was hard for him to convince her to tag along instead.

Aizawa didn’t even move from his spot on the towel as the man had seemingly fallen asleep pretty much as soon as they got to the beach.
