Chun-Li received an invitation to the second World Warrior tournament, and discovered that Bison had apparently survived the Thailand base's destruction. With this, she had the clear motive of destroying Shadaloo and avenging her father once again. During the tournament, Chun-Li and her allies manage to reach Bison and engage him in combat that reaches the forest. During their fight with Bison, They managed to overpower the Shadaloo dictator with Chun-Li delivering the decisive blow to M. Bison with a powerful Kikosho that destroyed part of the forest.

Afterwards, Chun-Li visits her father's grave, praying to him that his death had been avenged. With Chun-Li finally defeating M. Bison, it wouldn't be long until Shadaloo's eventual collapse. From there, Chun-Li would move on to be a young single woman, evening choosing to retire from Interpol.

Chun-Li is a young Chinese woman with brown eyes and long brown hair which she usually has in Ox horns, which she chooses to wear unadorned, using silk brocades and ribbons to cover them. Choosing to move on and live her life as a young single woman, Chun-Li’s attire is black crop top, a short pink skirt with black shorts underneath (naturally her muscular thighs and legs are on full display), and a pair of brown leather sandals.

While still being the same Chun-Li many know, she has adopted a more flirtatious and carefree attitude as she tends to usually spend her nights at dive bars drinking and hooking up with patrons.
