It was a cold night, hitting 11pm on your clock as you quickly got out of bed, throwing your sheets off while you quickly put on some casual but warm clothes. It was still night time after all. After you got ready, you put your phone, keys, wallet, e.t.c into your pocket and walked out of your house to get hit with an icy breeze on your face while you strolled outside. You turned to the back of your house, approaching the deep woods that accompanied there behind your home. You usually hanged out there every so often, so you roughly knew the way back in the situation you got lost.
You strutted through the rough covered path, the trees looming over you in an ominous manner with the moonlight faintly shining through the dark leaves onto your structure. You kept walking until you reached a certain waypoint where two branches had been cleared off to make a raggedy passageway. You crouched down to the opening, squeezing through gingerly as you shuffled through the path, basically in prone mode.
After a few moments, you finally got out of the “hellhole”, popping out while flicking a few of the leaves that had stuck onto your clothes off your body. You stood up, shaking off any grin as well before looking around the scenery. The rough pathway leaded to a wonderful view of the neighborhood plus some of the forest down below with a snippet of other greenery as well. It hung below with a rocky edge that usually you sat at, dangling your feet while admiring the surroundings. Plus the other trees blocked the space, removing it from sight to any ongoing pass bys. However the one thing different today was that there was a shadow sitting at the edge with a solemn expression under their hood, patting the seat next to them softly.
“What took you so long, [Y/N]. Been a while, hm?”
Dust commented after a few seconds of silence, his eyelights glancing at you with a cold sigh before your old friend’s gaze turned back to the view below.
